Alberto Annarilli is a research fellow in Ethnomusicology and the director of the University Gospel Choir at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where he earned his PhD in 2024. He collaborates with various Italian institutions and serves on both national and international committees and study groups. His research focuses on the relationship between music and liturgy within historical Protestant churches in Italy’s international communities, as well as the history and performance practices of Protestant music in evangelical communities. His approach integrates ethnographic studies, peace studies, and congregational music studies. He has published several essays in Italy and abroad on historiographical, ethnographic, and musical analysis topics, and has participated in conferences and scholarly seminars.
